A Statement of Solidarity

We are facing a pandemic of systemic oppression

On May 25 of 2020, George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis. A few days later, Iyad el-Hallak, a young autistic Palestinian man, was shot and killed by Israeli police in Jerusalem. These events have inspired people in the United States, Palestine/Israel and around the world to rise up against oppression and brutality. Sadly, these deaths are part of a long tradition of institutional racism and violence.

“No one is free until we are all free.”
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Combatants for Peace is proud to be an ally and partner in the global struggle for freedom and equality. We are dedicated to challenging hatred, systemic violence and state-sponsored brutality in our own communities; and we stand shoulder to shoulder with Black, indigenous and people of color worldwide, in the struggle for equality. Together we declare: Black Lives Matter. Together we are stronger, and only together will we achieve freedom, dignity and justice for all.

Help us fight for equality, freedom and human rights.
