Nancy Stern

Professor of Education, The City College of New York and Linguistics, Graduate Center (CUNY)

Nancy Stern’s research and publications are in the areas of English grammar, bilingualism and teacher education, with recent work on disability in Palestine and discourse analysis.

She is the Director of B-SEAL for Multilingual Learners, a US Department of Education funded project, and a Co-PI of the CUNY Initiative on Immigration and Education (CUNY-IIE), funded by the New York State Education Department. She also serves as the president of the Columbia School Linguistic Society.
